Onboarding: setting up your business

A step-by-step guide to the wizard that opens after sign-up: country, niche, name and format, first service and schedule. When you finish, your business page is ready to take bookings.

After you sign up, YEMISCE opens a short “First launch” wizard. In a few minutes it creates everything clients need to book you: your public page, your first service, you as the first specialist and a working schedule. Everything else can be set up later.

What you will need

  • your business name;
  • your own name as clients will see it;
  • an address, if clients come to you (not needed for online work);
  • one service to start with: its name, duration and price;
  • the days and hours when clients can book you.
At the top you can see which step you are on, for example 1/6. The “Back” button takes you to the previous step and does not erase anything.

Step 1. Country

On the “Where does your business operate?” screen, choose the country you work in. It sets the currency of your prices, your business time zone and the terms of your YEMISCE subscription. Right below the list you see the subscription price for that country and a reminder that you start with a free trial and no card is required.
If your country is not on the list, choose “Other country” — your prices will then be in euros.

Step 2. Niche

On the “What kind of business is it?” screen, pick a ready option (for example “Barber”, “Manicure” or “Tutor”) or type your own. The niche does not limit anything: it suggests a name for your first service and is shown on your page above the business name. You can change or remove it later in “Page” → “Business profile”.

Step 3. Name and format

  1. Enter the “Business name” — clients will see it exactly as you type it.
  2. In “What name should clients see?”, enter the name you use with clients. Clients see this name on your page and when they book; it also becomes the name of your specialist card and your account. If you signed up with an email or phone number, the field is empty — fill it in yourself. You can change the name later in “Team”.
  3. Below you will see the address of your future page, for example yemisce.com/studiya-ranok. It is built from the name in Latin letters.
  4. Choose your work format:
    • “Physical location” — clients come to you. Fill in the “Address” field.
    • “Online” — meetings happen remotely, no address needed.
The “Next” button becomes active once both the business name and your name are filled in.
The “Name and format” step: business name, your name for clients, page address and work format

Step 4. First service

Enter the service name, its duration in minutes (from 15 to 480, in steps of 15) and the price in your country's currency. That is enough for the first booking — you can add a description, photos and more services later in “Services”.

Step 5. Schedule

On the “When can clients book?” screen, tick the days when you see clients and set the hours.
  • While “Same schedule on weekdays” is on, you set the hours once — in the Monday row — and they apply to every ticked day.
  • To set different hours for different days, untick this option.
  • Tick at least one day.
The “Schedule” step: days of the week and working hours
This schedule becomes both your business opening hours and your personal working schedule as a specialist. You can change it later in “Team”: click your card and choose “Work schedule”. See Specialist schedule: working hours, unavailable time, days off.

Step 6. Creating the page

On the “Almost ready” screen, check the summary and click “Create page”.
YEMISCE automatically:
  • creates your public business page, ready to take bookings;
  • publishes your first service;
  • adds you to the team as the first specialist with the schedule you entered;
  • starts the free trial with full access to every feature.
You will then see the “YEMISCE is ready to take bookings” screen. From there you can go straight to the calendar (“Open calendar”) or look at your page the way clients see it (“View page”).

What's next

Your page already takes bookings, but it is worth adding a few more things: photos, a description, other services, your team, notification channels. A convenient order is in First steps after onboarding.

FAQ

I see “Fill in country, niche, name, first service, and schedule.” A field was left empty. Go back with the “Back” button and check each step: that the business name and your name are filled in (and the address, for a physical location), that the service has a name, and that at least one day is ticked in the schedule.
I see “Unfortunately, YEMISCE is currently unavailable for businesses registered or operating in this country.” YEMISCE does not work with businesses from this country, so you cannot create a business for it.
I see “We couldn't set up that market right now.” Try again a little later. If the message keeps appearing, write to us at hello@yemisce.com.
Do I need a card to start? No. You start with a free trial; payment is only needed after it ends — see Subscription payment: monthly or annual.
Can I go through the wizard again? No, it appears only for a new business. Everything you entered can be changed in your cabinet: the name, niche and logo in “Page” → “Business profile”, the page address in “Page” → “SEO and page address”, the address and opening hours in “Settings” → “Business”, your name in “Team”, services in “Services”.
