Business opening hours

When your business is open, how this shows on your page, and how business hours combine with each specialist's working hours.

Business opening hours are the overall frame: when your studio, office or salon receives clients. They are shown on your page and limit the times clients can book. You set the first version of these hours during onboarding.

Changing the opening hours

  1. Open “Settings” → “Business”.
  2. Find the “Business opening hours” block.
  3. For each day of the week:
    • tick the day to make it “Open”, or untick it to make it “Closed”;
    • set the “From” and “To” times.
  4. Click “Save” at the bottom of the page. You'll see “Saved”.
The “Business opening hours” block in “Settings” → “Business”
If the hours have never been saved, you'll see a note above the days: “Business hours are not saved yet: bookings are limited only by the specialists' schedules. Typical hours are shown below — click “Save” to make them apply.” Check the hours and click “Save”.
Each day has a single time range. The end must be later than the start, so hours that run past midnight (for example 20:00 to 02:00) can't be set.

Same time for several days

To avoid typing the hours seven times, use the “Same time for several days” row above the list of days:
  1. Set “From” and “To”.
  2. Click “Apply to open days” to change only the ticked days, or “Apply to all” for all seven.
  3. Click “Save”.

How business hours affect booking

For a client to see a free time, two things must line up:
YEMISCE only offers times when the specialist is working and the business is open. Business hours never add time to a specialist's schedule — they only trim it.
For example, the business is open 10:00–20:00 and the specialist works 09:00–18:00. Clients will see times from 10:00 to 18:00.
The same rule applies when you create a booking in the calendar: you can't book a client outside business hours.

What the client sees

  • At the top of the page, under the business name: “Open until 20:00” (with today's closing time) during opening hours, or “Closed now”.
  • In the contacts block: your opening hours by day.
Times on the page are shown in the business time zone. You can change it in the same “Settings” → “Business” section, in the “Business time zone” field. Changing the time zone does not move existing bookings.

FAQ

I changed the hours, but old bookings outside the new hours are still there. That's expected: opening hours only affect new bookings. Reschedule or cancel existing ones in the calendar yourself.
I see “Check the fields”. An open day has no time, or its end isn't later than its start. Check every ticked day.
The business is open, but clients see no times on Saturday. Most likely Saturday isn't one of the specialist's working days. Business hours don't add free time — check the specialist schedule.
The calendar says “This time is outside the business hours (“Settings” → “Business” → “Business opening hours”).” The booking time falls outside the business opening hours for that day, even if the specialist works then. Choose another time or change “Business opening hours”.
How do I set a lunch break for the whole business? Business hours have no separate break. Block the time in each specialist's schedule — see Specialist schedule.
