Google Calendar
How a specialist connects their own Google Calendar: YEMISCE bookings appear in Google, and, if you choose, events from a selected working calendar block time for booking.

What the integration does
It works in two directions:
- YEMISCE → Google. The specialist's confirmed bookings appear in their primary Google calendar: the event title is the service and the client's name, and the description has the client's contact details. If a booking is rescheduled, the event moves; if it's cancelled, the event disappears. Right after connecting, upcoming confirmed bookings are added to Google too.
- Google → YEMISCE (optional). You choose one “working calendar”. Its events block time: nobody can book you then, neither on your page nor in the YEMISCE calendar.
Reading from Google is off after you connect — you turn it on separately by choosing a working calendar. YEMISCE never reads events from your other calendars.
Where to connect
- A team member — “Google Calendar” in their cabinet menu.
- The owner (for their own schedule as a specialist) — “Settings” → “Integrations”.
The owner can't connect Google Calendar on a team member's behalf: everyone does it in their own cabinet, with their own Google account.
Connecting
- Click “Connect Google Calendar”.
- Sign in to your Google account and allow YEMISCE to access your calendar.
- You return to YEMISCE with the status “Connected”.
From now on, bookings are added to your Google calendar. If Google is temporarily unavailable, bookings in YEMISCE work as usual and the event appears in Google later.
Turning on busy-time blocking
- In the “Choose your working calendar” block, open the list.
- Pick a calendar under “Also block time based on events from the selected calendar:”. Your primary calendar is marked “(primary)”.
- Click “Save”.
The block now says “Currently blocking time based on events from calendar:” followed by the calendar's name. Every event in that calendar counts, except events marked as “Free” in Google. An all-day event blocks that whole day in the business time zone. Events YEMISCE itself created for your bookings aren't counted twice.
To go back to only adding bookings to Google, choose “Only add my YEMISCE bookings to the calendar” and click “Save”.
What the owner sees
In “Team”, each specialist shows one of these statuses:
- “Google Calendar not connected”;
- “Google Calendar connected” — bookings are added to Google;
- “Google Calendar is actively blocking time” — a working calendar is selected.
The owner never sees the name of the working calendar or its events.
If a team member has cabinet access but hasn't connected a calendar yet, open them in “Team” and click “Remind to connect Google Calendar”. They get a reminder with a link to the connection page. You can send a reminder to the same person at most once a day.
Disconnecting
Click “Disconnect”. YEMISCE stops adding bookings to Google and stops reading events. Events already added stay in your Google calendar — delete them there if you need to.
If you connect again later, you'll need to choose your working calendar again.

That requires the specialist's Google Calendar to be connected. See Online format.
