Here you decide whether to accept online bookings, how far ahead clients can book, what they can do with a booking themselves and which tools for free time are switched on.
Where to find it
- Open “Settings” in the left menu.
- Choose the “Booking” card.
- Change what you need and click “Save” at the bottom of the page. You will see “Saved”.
If a number is outside the allowed range, nothing is saved and you will see “Check the fields”.
These settings apply to the whole business — every service and every specialist.
Online booking
- “Accept online bookings” — the main switch. When it is off, the page stays online, but instead of a time picker clients see “Online booking is temporarily disabled. Contact the business directly.” You can still create bookings in the calendar yourself.
- “How many days ahead” — from 1 to 365 days, 30 by default. Clients cannot book further ahead than this. For recurring bookings it only limits the first visit of a series.
- “Nearest booking no sooner than” — in minutes, in steps of 15. For example, 120 means that at 10:00 a client will see times from 12:00 onwards. 0 means any free time that has not started yet can be booked.
- “Preparation before booking” and “Break after booking” — time YEMISCE keeps free around every booking. See Gaps between bookings.
- “Drag bookings in calendar” — whether bookings can be moved with the mouse. See Rescheduling a booking.
- “Protect against dead gaps” — do not offer clients times that would leave an unsellable gap. See Gaps between bookings.
- “Recurring bookings” — whether a client can tick “Repeat weekly” and book a whole series of visits at once. On by default. When it is off, clients can only book a single visit on your page. See Recurring bookings.
- “Message after a successful booking” — the text clients see on the “You're booked” screen. Up to 1500 characters. If empty, the default YEMISCE message is shown. If your page has several languages, there is a separate field for each, marked with the language code.
Client actions
This block decides whether a client can cancel or reschedule on their own, and until when. Every option here is covered in Client cancellation and rescheduling.
This is also where you choose how to handle no-shows (“No-show”): decide manually, or automatically mark the visit as “No-show” 2 hours after it ends. See Completing a visit and no-shows.
Phone verification by SMS code
The “Require phone verification by SMS code” option appears only when SMS verification is available on the platform. When it is not, you will see “SMS verification is currently unavailable on the platform.” instead of the switch.
When the option is on:
- a client with any number, Ukrainian or foreign, cannot book until they click “Verify phone”, receive an SMS code and enter it;
- the client gets no “Continue without verification” option, even if the SMS could not be sent;
- the same applies to waitlist requests.
YEMISCE sends the codes at its own cost — your SMS balance is not used for them.
Open slots
This block turns on the tools that help you fill free and freed-up time:
- “Allow waitlist” — clients can leave a request if they don't find a convenient time. See Waitlist.
- “Allow “open today”” and “Publish freed time automatically” — see “Open today”.
- “Ask clients if they want an earlier time” — the booking form gets a “Notify me if an earlier time opens” checkbox. See Offer a client an earlier time.
Add-ons
Independent options you turn on as needed: “Session packages”, “Client file” and “Aftercare”. See Session packages, Client file: visit notes and Aftercare.
FAQ
I changed the settings, but the client still sees the old times.
Ask the client to refresh the page. New rules apply as soon as you save.
Do these rules affect bookings I create myself in the calendar?
Partly. Business hours, the specialist's schedule and the gaps before and after bookings always apply. “How many days ahead”, “Nearest booking no sooner than” and dead-gap protection only affect what clients see on your page.
Can I set different rules for different services?
No, these settings are shared by the whole business. You can hide a single service from online booking with “Show in online booking” in its settings.
I switched off “Accept online bookings”. What happens to existing bookings?
Nothing. They stay in the calendar and clients still get their reminders.
