Aftercare

How to automatically send clients your aftercare instructions and ask how they feel after a visit, receive their answer and photos, and later invite them back.

Aftercare helps you stay in touch with clients after a treatment. At a set time after the visit YEMISCE asks the client how they feel and shows your instructions. And when it is time to repeat the service, it invites them to book again.
This is especially useful for tattoo, cosmetology, massage, rehabilitation — anywhere care after the visit matters.

How it works

Everything is configured per service and starts when you click “Complete visit”:
  1. Check-in. After the set number of minutes the client gets “How are you feeling?” with an “Answer” button. It opens the “Aftercare” page with your instructions and a reply form.
  2. Follow-up invitation. After the set number of days the client gets “Time for another visit” with a “Book again” button. It opens your page with the service already selected.
Messages go through the notification channel the client chose. See How notifications work.

Step 1. Turn aftercare on

  1. Open “Settings” → “Booking”.
  2. In the “Add-ons” block, turn on “Aftercare”.
  3. Click “Save”.

Step 2. Set up the service

  1. Open “Services” and click the service.
  2. Go to the “Advanced settings” tab.
  3. In the “Aftercare” block, fill in:
    • “Aftercare instructions” — what the client should do and avoid (up to 4,000 characters);
    • “Check in after (minutes)” — when to ask how they feel. 0 means right after the visit is completed, 1440 means a day later;
    • “Suggest a repeat visit after (days)” — when to invite them back.
  4. Click “Save”.
An empty field means that message is not sent.

What the client sees

On the “Aftercare” page the client sees:
  • “Aftercare instructions” — your text;
  • a “How are you feeling?” field for their answer;
  • the option to add a photo: first they tick “I agree to send a photo to the specialist for assessment”, then choose a file (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, up to 8 MB);
  • a “Send” button.
The client can come back later, change the answer and add more photos.
Below it there is a “Having an issue?” block: a “What happened? (optional)” field and a “Report an issue” button. If your page lists a phone or Telegram (see Contacts, address, map and social media), the block also has “Call” and “Message on Telegram” buttons. Where to read the answers

Open the booking in the calendar and expand “Details”. The “Post-visit check-in” block shows the date of the answer, the client's text and any photos.
A specialist sees the answer in their “My calendar” if they have the “See customer contacts for own bookings” permission.

If the client reports an issue

When the client clicks “Report an issue”, the owner and the specialist who ran the visit get a “A client reported an issue after their visit” notification with an “Open booking” button. If the client described what happened, their text is in the notification. YEMISCE does not host the conversation — contact the client by phone or messenger.

FAQ

The client did not get a check-in. Why? Check that “Aftercare” is on in booking settings; the service has “Check in after (minutes)” filled in; the visit was completed with “Complete visit”; and the set time has passed. The client also needs an available notification channel.
The client opens the link and sees “This page isn't available for this booking.” Aftercare is turned off in settings, or the booking is no longer “Completed”.
Can I change the instructions after the message was sent? Yes. The “Aftercare” page always shows the service's current instructions.
