You need them to pay, and they appear on your payment documents. Clients never see them: billing details are stored separately from your public business address.
Where to fill them in
Open “Settings” → “Billing details”. The “Complete details” button on the “YEMISCE subscription” page leads to the same place.
At the top of the page you can see the “Subscription Market” — the country your price applies to — and whether it can still be changed: before the first payment it says “Can be changed before billing history begins”, after it — “Locked after the first payment.” with a “Request a country change” link.
How to fill them in
- “Registration country” — the country where the sole proprietor or company that uses YEMISCE and is party to the agreement is registered. It determines your subscription market, the price, the language of payment documents and who is named as the buyer on them.
- “Business type” — “Sole proprietor” or “Legal entity”.
- Name. For a Ukrainian sole proprietor the field is called “Full name / legal name”, for a Ukrainian company “Full legal name”, for other countries “Legal name”.
- Tax number. For a Ukrainian sole proprietor — “RNOKPP”, for a Ukrainian company — “EDRPOU”, for other countries — “Tax / registration number”.
- VAT ID — if you have one. For a Ukrainian company the field is called “VAT ID / IPN (optional)”.
- “Document email” — payment emails with links to your documents are sent here.
- “Legal billing address” — the address from your registration documents, not your studio address.
- Click “Save details”. You will see “Billing details saved.”.
You do not need to remove spaces, dashes or dots from the tax number — YEMISCE does that for you. The number is validated by its checksum: an RNOKPP has 10 digits, an EDRPOU has 8. A Polish NIP (10 digits) is validated too.
If the registration country differs from the subscription market
Your subscription market is set by the registration country in your billing details. If you choose a country different from the current market, a warning appears below the form: “Current subscription Market: … To use details registered in …, the subscription Market will change to …”.
To save the details, tick “I confirm the subscription Market change together with these billing details.”. After saving, your subscription price changes to the price of the new market.
All other fields — name, number, address, email — can still be edited after payment.
How to change the registration country after the first payment
- Open “Settings” → “Billing details”.
- Next to “Subscription Market”, click “Request a country change”. The “Billing registration country change” page opens.
- In “Requested country”, choose the new country. The list only includes countries where the YEMISCE subscription is available.
- In “Reason for change”, briefly explain why the country is changing.
- Click “Submit request”.
The YEMISCE team reviews the request. Its status is shown on the same page: “Pending”, “Approved” or “Rejected”, with a “Review comment” if the team left one. While a request is pending, you cannot submit another one.
Once approved, the subscription market, the price of your next payments and the YEMISCE seller on your documents change together with the registration country. Anything already paid stays as it was. The page will show “The registration country was changed. Update the tax number and legal address for the new country in Billing details.” — do this before your next payment.
What happens when you edit your details
Each payment document keeps the billing details as they were at the time of payment. If you change them, documents already issued stay the same, and the new details appear on documents for later payments. See Payment history, documents and fiscal receipts.
FAQ
I see “Invalid RNOKPP. Check the number.” or “Invalid EDRPOU code. Check the number.”
The number failed the checksum. Compare it with your registration documents. Also check the “Business type”: a sole proprietor needs an RNOKPP, a legal entity needs an EDRPOU.
I see “Check the tax identifier format.”
The number does not match the format for the registration country. For Poland this is a 10-digit NIP.
I see “Check the required fields.”
A field is empty or too short. The name must be at least 2 characters, the legal address at least 5, and the email must be valid.
I see “Confirm the subscription Market change.”
You chose a different registration country but did not tick the confirmation. Tick it and save again.
I see “The selected country has no complete active billing context. Neither the Market nor billing details were changed.”
Subscription payments are not yet available for that country. Nothing was saved. If your business really is registered there, write to us at hello@yemisce.com.
I see “The saved registration country does not match the subscription Market. Correct the details before payment.”
The country in your billing details and your subscription market no longer match. You cannot pay until this is fixed. Choose the correct country and save your details. If the country is already locked after the first payment, submit a request as described in How to change the registration country after the first payment.
Do billing details affect the business country in “Business” settings?
No. The business country and the payer’s registration country are separate settings. The first one is covered in Changing the business country.
Who can see and edit billing details?
Only the business owner. Team members do not see this page.
