Subscription payment: monthly or annual

How to subscribe to YEMISCE by card, how monthly and annual billing differ, how automatic renewal works, and what to do if a payment fails or the price is changing.

You subscribe to YEMISCE in the cabinet: “Settings” → “Subscription”. You pay by card through mono, and the subscription then renews automatically. You can subscribe during your free trial or after it has ended.

Monthly or annual

  • “Monthly” — charged every month, “per month, renews automatically”.
  • “Annual” — charged once a year, “per year, renews automatically every 12 months”. An annual subscription costs the same as 10 months, and the “Annual saving” badge shows how much you save compared with 12 monthly payments.
Both options include exactly the same features — see The YEMISCE plan: what’s included.

Before you pay: billing details

Fill in your payer details first. On the “YEMISCE subscription” page, the “Payer details” block must show “Complete”. If it shows “Details needed”, click “Complete details” — see Billing details.

How to pay

  1. Open “Settings” → “Subscription”.
  2. In the “Billing period” block, choose “Monthly” or “Annual”. The price for your country is shown under the switch.
  3. Tick “I have read and accept the YEMISCE Public Offer including automatic subscription renewal and cancellation rules.” The offer opens from the link in that line.
  4. Click “Continue to payment”. You will see “Terms accepted. No payment has been created yet.” and the “Amount to charge”.
  5. Check the amount and click “Pay”.
  6. On the mono payment page, enter your card details and confirm the payment.
After paying you return to the “YEMISCE subscription” page. If everything went through, you will see “Payment confirmed. The paid subscription period has been prepared.”, and the “Current access” block will show “Subscription active until …” with a date.
Your card is saved for automatic renewal. An email with the payment document is sent to the “Document email” — see Payment history, documents and fiscal receipts.

The amount to charge

The charge is made in Ukrainian hryvnias. If the price for your market is set in another currency, YEMISCE converts it at the current rate and fixes the amount for 10 minutes — you will see “Amount fixed until …” under it.
If you do not pay in time, you will see “The rate quote expired. Prepare payment again to get a new charge amount.” Click “Refresh amount” — you do not need to accept the offer again.

Paying during the free trial

You do not lose any trial days. While the trial is running, the page shows “The paid period will start after the free period ends: …” — your paid month or year starts on that date.
If the trial has already ended, the paid period starts at the moment of payment and access is restored as soon as the payment is confirmed.

If you have free access through a program

While you have free access (for example, through the Veteran program), you can pay for the subscription in the last days before it ends — the same number of days before the end as when the “Your complimentary YEMISCE access is ending soon” email arrives (usually 7). The paid period starts when the free access ends, so you don't lose any free days.
The “YEMISCE subscription” page shows what you can do right now:
  • “You can pay for the subscription from …, a few days before complimentary access ends. The paid period starts after it, on ….” — the payment form is not shown yet; come back on that date;
  • “You can pay for the subscription now: the paid period starts when complimentary access ends, on ….” — pay as described above;
  • “The subscription is paid. The paid period starts when complimentary access ends, on ….” — nothing else to do.
The email about free access ending also reminds you that you can pay now.

Automatic renewal

At the end of each period YEMISCE charges the saved card for another period of the same length.
If a charge fails, the “Current access” block shows “Payment overdue” and an “Access until …” date. Everything keeps working until then, and YEMISCE retries the charge several times. Check that the card has enough funds and is not blocked. If none of the attempts succeeds by that date, access ends and the subscription page shows “Your paid period has ended. Select a billing period to renew your subscription.” To restore access, pay for the subscription again as described above.
While your subscription is paid, the payment form is not shown — you can't pay for the same period twice. If you started a payment and didn't finish it, you'll see “You have an unfinished payment. Complete it or try again in about an hour.” and a “Continue payment” button instead of the form.

How to cancel automatic renewal

  1. Open “Settings” → “Subscription”. The “Manage subscription” button in “Settings” → “Data & privacy” leads there too.
  2. In the “Automatic renewal” block, click “Cancel automatic renewal”.
  3. Confirm in the window that appears.
You'll see “Automatic renewal is cancelled. Access stays until the end of the paid period.”, and the block will say “Off. Access continues until …”. Everything works as usual until that date; after it nothing is charged to your card and access ends. The amount already paid for the current period is not refunded.
Changed your mind? Click “Turn automatic renewal back on” before the period ends, and the next charge happens on schedule.
The “Automatic renewal” block appears once you have a paid period. During the free trial there is nothing to cancel — nothing is charged without your payment.

If the price is changing

YEMISCE warns you about a price increase in your market at least 14 days before the first charge at the new price. The “YEMISCE subscription” page shows a “Your price is changing soon” block with the new monthly and annual prices. Anything you have already paid for stays at the old price.
If you have an active paid subscription with automatic renewal on, this block has a “Lock in the current price for a year” button. It isn't shown during the trial. It immediately charges your saved card for one year at the current price. The annual period starts when your already-paid period ends, so you do not lose any paid days. After that, the subscription renews annually.

FAQ

The “Continue to payment” button is inactive. Tick the Public Offer checkbox. If it is already ticked, read the message above the button — most often it is “Payer details are missing.”.
I see “The registration country and tax identifier must match the subscription Market.” The registration country in your billing details differs from your subscription market, or the tax number has the wrong format. Correct your details — see Billing details.
I see “Payment is being verified. The subscription activates only after payment confirmation.” The bank has not sent the final result yet. Refresh the page a little later. Do not pay a second time.
I see “Payment was not confirmed. Create a new payment attempt.” or “Monobank could not create the payment. Prepare the payment again.” No money was taken. Go through the payment steps again, starting with “Continue to payment”.
I see “The previous payment attempt is still being resolved. Please wait or contact support.” The result of the previous payment is not known yet. Wait and refresh the page. If the message does not go away, write to us at hello@yemisce.com.
I see “No subscription payment method is configured for this market.” Payment is not yet set up for your subscription country. Write to us at hello@yemisce.com.
Instead of the payment block I see “You can pay for the subscription from …”. You have free access through a program, for example the Veteran program. You can pay from the date shown in the message — a few days before the free access ends. The paid period starts when it ends. See If you have free access through a program.
How do I cancel automatic renewal? Open “Settings” → “Subscription” and click “Cancel automatic renewal” in the “Automatic renewal” block. See How to cancel automatic renewal.
How do I switch from monthly to annual billing? There is no button for this in the cabinet. Write to us at hello@yemisce.com. The exception is when your price is about to change: then you can click “Lock in the current price for a year” yourself.
Instead of the payment form I see “Your subscription is already paid until …” or “The payment for the next period is charged to your card automatically.” You don't need to pay again — this is how YEMISCE protects you from being charged twice.
Can I pay with a card in euros or zloty? Yes. The charge is made in hryvnias, and your bank converts the amount into the card currency at its own rate.
