You are already on the team as the first specialist (see The owner as a specialist). Add your colleagues so clients can book them too, and so they can see their own bookings in a personal dashboard.
How to add a team member
- Open “Team” and click “Add team member”.
- Fill in the card:
- “First name” — required, at least 2 characters. This is the name clients see when they choose a specialist;
- “Last name”, “Position” — for your team;
- “Level”, for example Top Master — clients see it next to the name when choosing a specialist;
- “Photo” — the “Upload photo” button (JPEG, PNG, WEBP or an iPhone photo, up to 5 MB);
- “Login email” — the address the team member will use to sign in;
- “Location” — where the specialist works.
- In the “Dashboard access” block, check the switches — what the team member may do in their dashboard. Details are in Team member permissions.
- Click “Save”. You will see “Saved”, and the new team member appears in the list. If you entered an email, the dashboard invitation goes to it right away — there is nothing else to click.
What a new team member gets right away
- A working schedule. YEMISCE copies the weekly schedule of the first specialist on the team (usually yours). If there is none, it uses Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00. Check and adjust it: team member card → “Work schedule”. See Specialist schedule.
- Services. The new specialist immediately becomes a performer of all existing services, and clients can book them online. If they don’t do everything, open the service → “Performers” and untick them. See Who performs a service.
How to invite them to the dashboard
The invitation is sent automatically as soon as you save a card with an email — both for a new team member and when you add or change the email on an existing card.
The team member receives a “You're invited to join “your business name” on YEMISCE” email with an “Accept the invitation” button. The link is valid for 7 days. After signing in they land in “My calendar” — see The team member dashboard.
If the email got lost or the link has expired, open the team member’s card and click “Send invitation” — the same email goes out with a new link. Or the team member can sign in on the YEMISCE login page themselves: “Email me a sign-in link” to the same address, or “Continue with Google” with the Google account for that email.
Statuses in the “Access” column
- “Invited” — an email is set, but the team member hasn’t signed in yet.
- “Active” — the team member has signed in and uses the dashboard. If the email already belonged to a YEMISCE account, the status becomes “Active” right after saving.
- “No access” — no email is set.
- “Disabled” — you disabled access, or deleted a team member who has history.
- “No cabinet: this account owns another business” — may appear on older cards that have the email of another business’s owner on YEMISCE. Clients can book such a specialist, but they can’t use the team member dashboard. A new email like that can’t be saved (see the FAQ).
- “Owner” — your own specialist card. See The owner as a specialist.
Disabling and deleting
Open the team member’s card. At the bottom there are the “Disable access” and “Delete” buttons. Your own card doesn’t have them.
“Disable access” — the team member can no longer sign in. They stay on the team, and clients can still book them. To restore access, click “Send invitation”.
“Delete” — YEMISCE asks you to confirm first. If the team member has no history yet (bookings, time blocks, “Open today” openings, freed time, reviews), you’ll see “Remove this team member permanently?”, and after you confirm they are removed completely. If there is history, you are warned beforehand: “This team member has history (bookings, blocks or reviews), so they will be deactivated: they disappear from the team and online booking, and the history stays. Continue?”. YEMISCE then does not delete the bookings; it deactivates the team member instead: they disappear from the specialist choice for clients and get the “Disabled” status. The card of such a team member also shows “If history exists, the team member will be deactivated without deleting bookings.”
Bringing a deactivated team member back
Deactivated team members stay at the bottom of the “Team” list with the “Disabled” status. If the person works with you again, don’t create a new card — open the old one. It says “This team member is deactivated: they are not in online booking; their booking and review history stays on this card.” and has a “Bring back to the team” button.
After you click it, you’ll see “The team member is back. Check their schedule and services.” The team member returns on the same card with all their history and the same dashboard access they had before. Check their “Work schedule” and the services they perform: these decide whether clients can book them online. If you have meanwhile added this person as a new card with the same email, the old card comes back without dashboard access.
FAQ
“Could not complete the action” appears after saving.
Check that the first name has at least 2 characters and the email is spelled correctly. The same error appears if this email is already used on another team member’s card in your business. A deactivated team member’s email doesn’t cause this error.
“Could not send email” appears.
The card was saved, but the invitation email was not sent. Open the card and click “Send invitation” a little later. If it keeps failing, write to hello@yemisce.com.
The team member didn’t get the email.
Ask them to check Spam and Promotions — the email to look for is “You're invited to join…”. The link is valid for 7 days — if more time has passed, click “Send invitation” again.
The team member has their own business in YEMISCE.
One account can’t be both an owner and a team member, so another business owner’s email can’t be used. After saving you’ll see “This email belongs to the owner of another business on YEMISCE. One account can't be both an owner and a team member — use a different email.” Ask the team member for a different email for your team’s dashboard. You can also save the card without an email — clients can then book them, but they won’t have a dashboard.
How do I change a team member’s email?
Open the card, change “Login email” and click “Save”. The invitation goes to the new address right away. If you clear the email, the team member loses dashboard access.
What is the “Remind to connect Google Calendar” button?
It appears when the team member has already signed in but hasn’t connected Google Calendar. YEMISCE sends them a reminder — no more than once a day. See Google Calendar.
