This decides whether the client gets a review request and aftercare messages, and it feeds the no-show count on the client's card.
When the buttons appear
The buttons are in the booking card when:
- the booking's status is “Confirmed”;
- the booking's start time has already arrived.
Future bookings don't have these buttons.
How to complete a visit
- In the calendar, click the booking and choose “Details”.
- If “Client file” is enabled, you can fill in “Visit note (client file)”.
- Click “Complete visit”.
- Confirm: “Mark this visit as completed?”.
“Visit marked as completed.” appears at the top, and the booking's status changes to “Completed”.
What happens after completion
- Review request. The client immediately gets a link to rate the visit. If there's no review after 48 hours, YEMISCE sends one reminder. See Reviews: request and reminder.
- Aftercare. If “Aftercare” is on in “Settings” → “Booking” and the service has a check-in or a follow-up visit configured, the client receives them at the set time. See Aftercare.
- Note. If you filled it in, it is saved to the client's file. See Client file: visit notes.
How to mark a no-show
- Open the booking's “Details”.
- Click “Client did not come”.
- Confirm: “Mark this booking as no-show?”.
“Booking marked as no-show.” appears at the top, the booking card shows the status “No-show”, and the tile in the calendar gets a “No-show” badge.
Nothing is sent to the client and no review request is created. Under “Clients”, no-shows are counted on the client's card, and the “No-show” filter lists every client who missed at least one visit. The client sees the status “No-show” for this booking in their “My bookings” cabinet.
Automatic no-show marking
“Settings” → “Booking” has a “No-show” field with two options:
- “Owner or specialist decides manually” — the default. A past booking stays “Confirmed” until you click “Complete visit” or “Client did not come” yourself.
- “Automatically mark as no-show 2 hours after the end” — if you haven't marked anything 2 hours after the booking ends, YEMISCE marks it as a no-show.
Correcting a mistaken mark
If a visit was marked “Completed” or “No-show” by mistake — by you, by the specialist or automatically — the owner can set the booking back to “Confirmed” within 7 days after the visit:
- Open the booking's “Details”.
- Click “Back to “Confirmed””.
- Confirm: “Remove the “Completed” / “No-show” mark and set the booking back to “Confirmed”?”.
“The booking is back to “Confirmed”.” appears at the top. Now mark the visit correctly with “Complete visit” or “Client did not come”. If automatic marking is on, do it straight away: a booking left as “Confirmed” will become a no-show again after a while.
Seven days after the visit the button disappears. If you click it after that (for example, the card was open for a long time), you will see “The status can only be changed within 7 days after the visit.”.
Group classes
Each participant is marked separately. Click the class tile, choose “Details” next to a participant and complete their visit or mark a no-show.
FAQ
“Only past bookings can be marked this way.” appeared.
The booking's start time hasn't arrived yet. Wait until the visit starts.
“This status can only be changed for confirmed bookings.” appeared.
The booking already has another status — completed, no-show or cancelled. Perhaps the specialist marked it, or automatic marking kicked in. If the mark is wrong, set the booking back to “Confirmed” (within 7 days after the visit).
I marked a no-show by mistake. How do I fix it?
Within 7 days after the visit, open the booking's “Details”, click “Back to “Confirmed”” and then “Complete visit” — the client will get a review request. Details are in the “Correcting a mistaken mark” section above. After that the mark can no longer be changed.
Can a team member mark visits?
Yes. Any team member can use “Complete visit” and “Client did not come” on their own bookings in “My calendar” — no extra permission is needed. Other people's visits are marked by their specialist or the owner. Only the owner can set a booking back to “Confirmed”. See Staff permissions.
