YEMISCE keeps track of how many sessions have been used and debits one with each booking.
Turning it on
- Open “Settings” → “Booking”.
- In the “Add-ons” block, turn on “Session packages”.
- Click “Save”.
As soon as you turn on “Session packages”, the same block shows the field “A visit is forfeited if cancelled less than” — more on it below.
Creating a package
- Open “Bookings” and click “Create package” at the top of the calendar.
- Choose “Service” and “Specialist”.
- Enter the client: name, phone and, optionally, email. If the client is already in your base, you will see “Client found”.
- In “Number of sessions”, enter how many visits the package includes (1 to 100).
- Optionally set “Expiry date (optional)”. The package is valid until the end of that day. Without a date, the package never expires.
- Click “Create package”.
You will see “Session package created.”.
Debiting a session
A session is debited when you create a booking in the calendar:
- In the calendar, click “Booking” and fill in service, specialist, date, time and client as usual. See Creating a booking for a client.
- Tick “Use one credit from the client's package”.
- Click “Create booking”.
YEMISCE finds the client's package for this service by phone number or email. A session is used only from a package for the specialist the booking is with. If there are several, the oldest one is used first. Expired packages are skipped.
A team member can debit a session the same way in their “My calendar” when creating a booking.
Checking the balance
In “Clients”, open the client card. The “Session packages” block shows, for each package, the service, the specialist, how many sessions are used — for example “3 of 10 sessions” — and the term: “valid until …” or “no expiry”.
Clients do not see their package balance in YEMISCE — let them know yourself if needed.
Cancelling a package
If a package was created by mistake or the client gave up the course:
- In “Clients”, open the client card.
- In the “Session packages” block, click “Cancel package” next to the package.
- Confirm: “Cancel this package? Its unused visits can no longer be booked. Bookings already made stay.”
You will see “Package cancelled.”, and the package on the card is marked “cancelled”. Sessions are no longer debited from it.
If a visit is cancelled
By default a cancelled visit goes back into the package, no matter when it was cancelled. This applies both when you cancel and when the client cancels through their booking link.
To stop late cancellations from being returned:
- “Settings” → “Booking” → “Add-ons” block.
- In “A visit is forfeited if cancelled less than”, enter a number of hours, for example 24.
- Click “Save”.
Now, if fewer hours than that remain before the visit, the session is forfeited. Before such a cancellation both you and the client see a warning: “Cancelling less than 24h before the visit forfeits it from the package - the fee for it is not refunded.” An empty field means a visit always returns to the package.
If the client does not show up and the visit is marked “No-show”, the session stays used. Moving a booking to another time does not affect the package.
FAQ
I see “This client has no active package for this service.”
This client has no valid package for this particular service with this specialist. Check that the phone in the booking matches the one in the package, that the booking has the same specialist as the package, and that the package has not expired.
I see “This client has no open sessions left in a package for this service.”
All sessions in the package are used. Create a new package for the client.
Can I edit or delete a package?
No, only cancel it — with “Cancel package” on the client card (see above). If a package has a mistake, cancel it and create a new one.
Why is there no “Create package” button?
Check that “Session packages” is on in “Settings” → “Booking”.
